Tracking Tigase Pause Times

I am interested in tracking the garbage collection pause times. Is there a metric exposed by tigase that will track this?

There is no metrics for GC activity in Tigase. JVM exposes such information itself, hence there is no need for Tigase to do it.

Make sure you use concurrent GC to avoid long delays.

For others that find this post:

This stackoverflow has flags you can add to tigase to print these times to the logs

I also found this MBean tracks total collection time which can be used to calculate throughput.

java.lang:type=GarbageCollector,name=ConcurrentMarkSweep
