Does the user "riko87@xxx.xxx.it" with password 432987 exists in the database?

It's the user created during installation into the table: tig_users

Usually the most common mistake done by a user is to use incorrect domain name when connecting to the server, so instead of authenticating for user: riko87@domain1.com, a user tries to authenticate against: riko87@domain2.com.

Make sure this does not happen in your case. Also, what do you use on the client side for connecting your user?

i use an application developed by me that works with other server like openfire or ejabberd.

The domain is the host right?

so i concat riko87@ and the parameter into --virt-hosts right?

But it's correct that the admin user are in tig_users and the table user_jid are empty?

Tnx

Costantino

Yes, but is this the same domain used to create a user account in DB? Can you check the DB that the same domain is used? This is the only possible explanation which comes to my mind.

Yes, this is correct.
