Change password using rest

Hello everyone.

We need to change user password using tigase rest api with administrator account. Is there a way to accomplish this task using some existing rest services, or which would be the preferred way to implement it by ourselves.

Tigase server 5.2.3, http api 1.0.0.

Thanks in advance.

As outlined in the Usage examples - example ad-hoc commands you can execute any available admin ad-hoc command through REST API. And management of users, including changing password, is available under Session Manager (@sess-man@) component.

Thank you so much!

Could you please also clarify which way of adding/deleting users through rest is preferable and why: using Session Manager with ad-hoc command or sending PUT/DELETE requests to /rest/user/user@example.com ?

Requests to /rest/user/user@example.com should be slightly faster as they operate directly on repository without additional hop of command send from HTTP component to session-manager.
