Java-based approaches to Raspberry PI GPIO input and devices

Some basics on the GPIO configuration, and nature of breadboards for those unfamiliar with working with hardware. This is a very general article and based off of older Pi models, but still useful information.

This guide from Oracle is how to setup an environment for Raspberry Pi and using Java Embedded. This tutorial uses the Raspbian Wheezy OS which is headless linux environment, quite lean.
